Saying goodbye

Hi guys! So I don't want to ramble on too much and just cut to the chase: I'm taking a break from this blog. I love blogging and this past year has been amazing, but I just have other priorities right now. It won't be for good, I'll probably get back to posting in a month, two, three.... Right now it's just added pressure I really don't need, because I have other things going on in my life.
I want to take this moment to thank all of you for being with me on this journey and hopefully you'll still be here once I come back. I want to make posts every week, good posts. But when I don't have the time I'm just stressed, because I don't want to disappoint you as my readers, and mostly myself.
Stay awesome, be yourself and hold your head high!

Now before I go I have one last outfit for you. This skirt is my absolute favourite at the moment and I swear I fell in love the second I saw it. And the jumper cuts me off at just the right place, kinda quirky and off looking, but I like it. Okay here you go:

I'm wearing:

sweater - my mum's
leather skirt - Zara
platforms - Buffalo
coat - H&M

Thank you for everything and hopefully see you soon!

Bye and love you all! xx

Pastel world

Hi guys! First of all, I'm really sorry for not posting last week. I really wanted to do a Halloween post, but some things came up. But I'm saving the idea and I will probably do it sometime in the spring of 2015.
Things have been interesting lately, I mean since you last heard from me. Interesting and unexpected and wonderful and awesome. Mostly full of emotion. I found the courage to do things that I've been thinking about for a while, but never had the guts to actually do it. And no matter the outcome, I feel better. I feel like the weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can actually breathe now.
Okay, won't ramble on too much, let's go on to the outfit! I bought this lovely skirt in Topshop last week and I got it half off and oh my, it's was such a bargain. I love it to bits and it's just me in a skirt. Since it's this beautiful pastel blue colour I decided to keep the rest of the outfit pale too with a yellow crop top and white blazer and shoes. To clash the feeling of the outfit I put on some purple lisptick, just to spice it up a bit.

I'm wearing:
skirt - Topshop
top - H&M
blazer - H&M
shoes - Buffalo

Thank you for reading and I'll be back in a week I hope!
Love you guys! xx

Summer vibe

Hi everyone! I'm rather tired from everything that happened this week and on top of that the sound of rain is really relaxing, so I'll probably fall asleep soon.
Holidays are fast approaching once again and I think it's about time. School has been pretty okay so far, but I need to get some rest, charge my batteries. And with the holidays also comes Halloween. I have a few ideas, but I'm not really sure if I'll be able to execute them. I hope I'm able to make it work, because last year I didn't do anything for Halloween, even though I really wanted to.
Okay, now on to the outfit. Once again it's more menswear inspired and casual. I wore these pants, that I haven't worn in 4 years, and paired them with a checked shirt that's only tucked in at the front. Finished it off with my birks style sandals, to give it more of a summery vibe, even though Summer's long gone.

I'm wearing:
blue pants - H&M
shirt - C&A
sandals - seaside

Thank you for reading! I'll be back in a week and until then, have fun.

Love you guys! xx

Where is my mind?

Hi lovelies! I have an outfit post for you today, but before that I want to address a few things.
I've been really busy these last couple of weeks doing all sorts of things. But mostly my time has been and will continue to be dedicated to drama. As most of you know, that is something I'm really passionate about. If you hear me talking about it in person, you can see that I light up like a Christmas tree. I may not be the best, but it a huge stress reliever and it keeps my creativity alive (which is sometimes hard in a tight school schedule). And I know, I'm 100% sure, that this year will be amazing. I think even that sentence makes it amazing, because I don't think I've ever said that before. And it's not because this year is something special (well it is in a way), but it's because I realized every year is. Once I allowed myself to believe good things were going to happen, they did. Opportunities I could ever only dream of just started popping up. And I realized I'm thinking less and less about all the things that could go wrong and instead believing that everything will serve it's purpose in the end. I know this always sounds good in theory, but it's hard to apply it to your own day to day experiences. It's hard to get to the point where you really trust the universe, trust that the future will bring you what you need, even though it might not be what you want at the moment. I think we're too oblivious to the power of our minds. What goes on in your mind, the way you perceive yourself and others... That is what makes the bed you sleep in. You are your world and everything in it is really just up to the way you decide to look at it. If you look at something from a different point of view it's still the same thing, but your perception of it is different. Are you starting to gather what I'm getting at? The circumstances of your life won't change, but by having a positive outlook on things you will start to see a whole new dimension to your life that you never thought possible. Explore new things that you didn't dare before, because you can. You can do it, you can succeed. Just believe.
Okay this turned out a bit longer than I intended, but that's okay. I think it's something we all know and understand on some level or another, but we don't practice it enough.

Okay, now on to the outfit! The idea for this look came to me when I was thinking of ways to wear this top in the winter time, when it'll be too cold to wear it on it's own. I put my brother's shirt under it and than styled the whole look around that. Since the top part looks really serious and academic, I decided to have some fun on the bottom. My ripped boyfriend jeans, along with my Buffalo platforms, did the trick!

I'm wearing:
white shirt - my brother's
green leather top - Zara
boyfriend jeans - Topshop
platforms - Buffalo

Thank you all for reading and I'll be back next week! Have a great week and don't forget to look at the bright side of things.

Love you guys! xx

50 shades of BLACK

Hi guys! Exactly one year ago tomorrow I brought the idea of having a blog to life. I had no idea what I was doing, but it felt right. I felt like this was something I had to do, for me. My confidence wasn't really at it's peak and I felt quite uncomfortable in front of the camera at first. But I feel different now. And that's exactly what I wanted to capture, my evolution. This was a way for me to express myself, to get a message out there. And I think I'm doing a pretty okay job. I learned so much about myself and the world around me this year, and this blog has been a big part of that.
I had no idea so many people were going to read this, how many people I was going to inspire.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you that have been following me, supporting me and just sharing this journey with me.  So thank you for all the feedback, the good and the bad. And I hope we can all keep this going for years to come!

Okay, now on to the outfit. This is my take on a classic elegant head to toe black outfit. I'm wearing the same skirt as I did in my first outfit post and paired it with an oversized sweater, my trusty docs and a black blazer. I finished the look off with a sleek ponytail and minimalistic make up.

I'm wearing:
black skirt - Zara
fluffy sweater - H&M
blazer - my mum's
combat boots - Dr. Martens

Thank you again for reading and I hope you have a great week!

Love you guys! xx

Pink panther

Hi guys! It's Thursday again and I have another outfit post for you. This one is really colourful and fun and has absolutely no black in it. I had this pink skirt in my closet and I put it on. And while I was looking through my tops I had this crazy idea... Why not pair it with a bright red sweater? And honestly, I think the red compliments my skin tone and hair colour wonderfully. I love the whole look, head to toe. I hope you enjoy the photos:

The pink skirt (that has a really interesting texture to it btw) is from H&M and the sweater is my mum's. My white platforms are by Buffalo.

You may or may not know, but next Friday is the one year anniversary of this blog. I started it on October 10th 2013 and I think I've come such a long way and my style has evolved too. If you have any special requests please let me know and I just want to say thank you to all of you for supporting me. I appreciate every single one of you!
That'll be all for today. Tune in next week to see more of me and until then, have fun!

Love you guys! xx

Time for change

Hello there lovelies! Today I have an outfit post and I'm very sorry for posting it late, but I just didn't have time yesterday. This right here is one of my all time favourite outfits (I know I've said this before, but I mean it every time). I just felt awesome all day long! And as you may have figured out, these are my favourite pair of pants and they just make every outfit look great and Asian inspired. The socks and sandals look just adds to that. Okay here's the outfit:

I'm wearing my fave pants from Asos, H&M shirt, a pair of random white socks and birks that I picked up in Croatia.

Okay that'll be all for today. I hope you enjoyed today's post and hopefully you'll be back next week!
Thank you for reading and have a great week.

Love you guys xx
